QUOTIENT BIOSCIENCE GROUP FORMS NEW BIODIAGNOSTICS DIVISION

CAMBRIDGESHIRE, UK, 7 April 2009 – Quotient Bioscience Group Limited (“Quotient Bioscience”), a leading European provider of analytical and safety evaluation services and products for bioscience and sport, today announces the formation of Quotient Biodiagnostics, a separately managed operation within the Quotient Bioscience Group responsible for the Group’s interests in the diagnostics market. The formation of the new division will allow Quotient Bioscience to build on the success of Alba Bioscience, Quotient Bioscience’s existing diagnostics business which is focused on the manufacture and sale of blood-typing reagents and systems for the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) market.
