LISS Additive Reagent (Product Code Z333)

Alba Bioscience are pleased to announce the introduction of a new CE marked/FDA approved product : ALBAhance^TM LISS Additive Reagent.

Low Ionic Strength Solution Additive Reagent (ALBAhance^TM LISS Additive Reagent) is prepared for use in serological testing to reduce the ionic strength of the reaction mixture between antigen and antibody and permit a substantial reduction to the incubation time required for antigen/antibody binding. The LISS Additive Reagent is added to the cells/serum mixture directly in the tube, incubated appropriately and then taken through a wash procedure followed by the addition of AHG (Z350). Some laboratories find this an easier alternative to washing and re-suspending red cells in LISS to create a low ionic environment.
