ALBAclone Monoclonal ABO and RhD reagent
Alba Bioscience has a wide range of CE marked monoclonal ABO and RhD blood grouping antisera. The cell lines from which these are derived have been developed by SNBTS scientists and have been widely tested and evaluated by reference centres throughout the world and at international workshops.
These are manufactured and standardised in accordance with UKBTS Guidelines and comply with the provisions of the European Union in vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Directive.
- Slide tests are not recommended for detection of weak D and partial RhD types

What controls should I use?
The required controls are detailed on the Instructions For Use for each product. Controls are usually at least one positive and one negative control.
Is Ax detected by your reagents?
The product Anti-A,B (Z021, Z023, Z024) are very good at detecting the Ax subgroup.
