ALBAcyte® 0.8% Reagent Red Cells are designed for column agglutination technology (CAT) and most come with machine readable barcodes that are recognized by Ortho’s AutoVue® and some Bio-Rad (DiaMed) platforms.
Do you provide antibody screening panels for all testing systems?
For use in conventional test systems.
What volume is in each vial?
All of these are presented as 3 x 10mL vials.
What buffers/preservatives are used?
Each panel is provided in Alba Bioscience own proprietory buffer.
What is the concentration of the cells?
Antibody Screen (native) Z451 is provided at 2 - 3%
Do all panels have the same antigenic profiles?
Each panel complies with the recommendations within the Red Book Guidelines
Are the cells fresh or frozen?
Antibody Screen (native) Z451 is generally made from fresh cells.
Are they HLA tested?
As far as possible we exclude cells with known associations with Bg phenotypes in our antibody screening panels.
