Welcome

Alba Bioscience Inc. was formed in 2004 and is located adjacent to North Carolina s prestigious Research Triangle Park.   It was formed to commercialize Alba Bioscience (UK) products within North and South America.

It was announced on September 20th 2007 that Alba Bioscience Inc. Durham NC had received clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market 15 monoclonal blood grouping reagents, including some not previously available in the US.

The newly approved ALBAclone® Blood Grouping Reagents include tests for rare blood types. These reagents are highly specific monoclonal antibodies that ensure product uniformity and availability.

Commenting on the FDA's decision, Noel Brown, President of Alba Bioscience Inc, said"This will allow the company to provide essential blood transfusion compatibility products to hospital laboratories and blood donor centers in the world's largest market for blood typing products."

These new products will be launched at the AABB meeting (American Association of Blood Banks) annual meeting in Anaheim CA 20-23 October. Come and visit us at Booth no 794.

Please send an email to info@albabioscience.com for more information, including pricing, once the products are for sale in the US.
